Until 1985 he lived and studied in the city of Kurgan.
Graduated in 1989 from the painting-pedagogical Department of the Sverdlovsk Art College.
In 1989 he entered the Krasnoyarsk State Art Institute, the Department of easel painting. He studied at the Studio of honored artist of Russia, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Arts, Professor Anatoly Markovich Sign.
In 1995 defended a thesis and became a freelance artist.
Since 1997 lives and works in Irkutsk. Professor, history of art, painting and chromatics at the Department of Oriental art history faculty, Irkutsk State Technical University.
1999-2005 senior lecturer of painting and chromatics at the Department of gemology, Irkutsk State Technical University.
Interested in art, philosophy, and religion of the East, the problems of contemporary art and avant-garde creativity.
