The son of writer and populist N. N. Zlatovratski. Studied at S. Konenkov in Moscow, St. Petersburg 1902-05. AH. He worked in the workshops Maillol, Bernard, Bourdelle in Paris. From 1908 to participate in exhibitions. Lived and worked in Moscow. In 1926-32 one of the founders of the ODP. Monumental sculpture, including monuments, busts Saltykov-Shchedrin (1918) and Karl Marx (1922) in Moscow, easel production.
