Exhibition of children's drawings "To the shores of distant India

Ausstellung 13 − 29 August 2021
august 13 at 14.00 in the Olive Hall of the Primorsky State Picture Gallery will open the exhibition of children's paintings "To the shores of distant India", dedicated to the Independence Day of India.

It has become a good tradition for the Gallery's Children's Museum Center to organize a contest of creative works in cooperation with the Consulate General of India in Vladivostok and the "Russian-Indian Club". In 2021 about 500 drawings of students from art schools and studios in Vladivostok and Primorsky Krai participated in the contest and more than 100 works were selected for display.

Young artists always approach the challenges of this competition with great interest and attention, because India is a unique and wonderful country, where thousands of years of cultural and religious traditions are so closely intertwined. In the works of the participants India appears majestic, mysterious and fabulous, with a rich nature, peculiar customs, original ancient culture, with talented and hardworking people.

Bright and original works testify to the sincere and genuine interest of the younger generation in the culture of India.
