Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts presents exhibition "Sergei Prokofiev - Svyatoslav Richter. Short Encounters".
The exhibition consists of several sections dedicated to key events in the biographies of the musicians, when their paths intersected, beginning with Sergey Prokofiev's first tour around Russia in 1927 and ending with the last Moscow concerts of the 1950s.
The State Tretyakov Gallery, the museums of the Bolshoi, Mariinsky and Mikhailovsky theatres, the A. A. Bakhrushin State Central Theatre Museum, the St. Petersburg Museum of Theatre and Music, the Russian National Museum of Music, the Russian State Archive of Literature and Art, as well as the Krasnogorsk Archive of Film and Photo Documents took part in the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts. The State Tretyakov Gallery, the museums of the Bolshoi and Mikhailovsky Theatres, the State Central Theatre Museum named after A. Bakhrushin, the St. Petersburg Museum of Theatre and Music Art, the Russian National Museum of Music, the Russian State Archive of Literature and Art, as well as Krasnogorsk Archive of Film and Photo Documents.
