Seven Beauties

The State Russian Museum in the Marble Palace holds an exhibition "Seven Beauties.".
The exhibition is timed to the 880th anniversary of the outstanding Azerbaijani poet and philosopher Nizami Ganjavi, presents different types of art, uniting several historical eras with the images of his immortal poetry.
The concept of the project implies the unity of perception of visual and audio images. This creates the effect of personal participation of the viewer in the action unfolding in front of him. This effect is achieved by video installations depicting luxurious old handwritten books decorated with miniatures. The characters of the miniatures come to life, inviting you into their enchanted world.
