Tate Modern Gallery holds an exhibition
"Hilma af Clint and Pete Mondrian.".
The exhibition brought together works by two innovators of modern painting: the Swedish artist Hilma af Klint and the Dutch painter Piet Mondrian.
The authors developed their own languages of abstraction, beginning as landscape artists, challenging the typical art forms of their time. Although they never met, the artists shared the same desire to understand the forces underlying life on Earth.
