Born in 1951 in Zelenodolsk, Tatarstan Graduate Institute. I. E. Repin (Academy of arts), 1981 in the Studio of the outstanding painter E. E. Moiseenko, Gilazov continues and develops the traditions of their teachers, creating realistic works, marked by the pathos of citizenship, at the same time transforming reality, filling images a lively sense of life. The author of more than three thousand paintings, it's different creative activity and bright individual person in the art. The artist has managed to create its picturesque style, which makes recognizable his paintings are in museums, in private collections of Russia, Tatarstan and abroad. Favorite warm Tatarstan and rainy Petersburg, second home Gilazov found in the artist of his thin voice. The world of images Rashid Gilazov created portraits, still-lifes, landscapes, interiors, monumental paintings, is a world of bright, life-affirming, world of high spirituality, unforgettable brightness of impressions. His first solo exhibition was held in the Leningrad branch of Union of artists of the USSR in 1986.
