"Heller altar" ( also known as "Altar of the assumption of Mary") is a triptych by Albrecht dürer and Matthias grünewald. The altar was created between 1507 and 1511 the years, commissioned by the patrician Jacob Heller for the Church of the Dominican monastery in Frankfurt am main. Part of it is preserved only in copies made in the sixteenth century artist Jobscom Harrigan. Now part of the altar are stored in three museums: Historical Museum (Frankfurt), Stadel art Institute, the Kunsthalle (Karlsruhe).
