He became known at the Almaty art scene in 1999 as the winner of the I first prize at the Central Asian festival of young artists "Zhiger-99". Together with Saule Suleimenova they were the only artists representing the contemporary art of Kazakhstan in the International Assembly of World Citizens in 2001 in France. Works Kuanysh stored in the collection of the Museum of fine arts (Atyrau, Kazakhstan), in the State art collection (Istanbul, Turkey), the art Fund of the International creative laboratory of artists of Turkic-speaking countries "TURKSOY" (Istanbul, Turkey), as well as in famous private collections in Kazakhstan and abroad.
