Firewood

The original frame (photo #2) fell apart during another transportation. Since the artist made the frames himself from old boards, some of the frames did not pass the test of time. Collector Eugenia Tarabarova picked up another frame (photo #1) for this painting, which was shown on the exhibitionin memory of her husband and collector Sergei Tarabarov. The exhibition was held in the summer of 2022 at the Museum of Russian Lubok and Naive Art.
