Kropivnitsky Marian Yulievich was born on September 8, 1903 in the village of Cherepashyntsi, Kalinovsky district, Vinnitsa region.
By nationality Pole.
In 1922-1923 he studied in Vinnitsa at the school of painting of the artist Stepan Slobodyanyuk-Podolyan, who was one of the organizers of the National Museum of Fine Arts and the school of painting in Vinnitsa.
Since 1925, M. Kropivnitsky studied at the Kiev Art Institute at the Art and Pedagogical Faculty under the guidance of Pavel Golubyatnikov, who was a student of the famous artist Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin.
After graduation in 1929. M. Kropivnitsky was appointed an assistant at the Kiev Art Institute. He was also the assistant of the artist Kazimir Malevich.
In the summer of 1930, M. Kropivnitsky organized and supervised the work of training courses for peasant workers who wanted to go to college and taught them a course on painting.
In October 1930, he joined the All-Ukrainian Association of Proletarian Artists (VUAPMIT).
In the period 1931-1941. M. Kropivnitsky was a member of the Kiev Committee of Artists and worked on contracts.
In 1932, he enrolled in graduate school at the All-Ukrainian Historical Museum.

Marjan Kropyvnytskyy did not join the Union of Artists and was a free artist.
In 1962-1973, M. Kropivnitsky was a member of the photo club. Experimented in the field of photography and slides.
Marjan Kropyvnytskyi lived and worked in Kiev.
He painted with oil paints, had works in the technique of watercolor, pastels, pencil and charcoal drawings. His works are portraits, still lifes, landscapes and more.
Kropyvnytskyi Marian Yulievich died on August 16, 1989 and was buried in Kiev.
