Biography and information

The small Russian town of Yartsevo in the Smolensk region – small Motherland of the Crimean artist. He was born February 10, 1927 in the family of party activist Boris Elder. Father, a Communist, in the Wake of the revolution, gave the boy a name that fully comply with the spirit of the rebellious era – Robus (the organizer of the Revolutionary Struggle of the Oppressed Classes). But the mother, in secret from her husband, baptized the child, naming it in honor of his father, Boris. The fate of the family of the future artist was a difficult and tragic as the fate of many families of the era. The father repeated the feat Pavel Korchagin - saved in the winter in the icy water intended for the construction of the forest, contracted pneumonia and died at the age of 25. There was one mother with a five-year fixed, three-year-old Vladimir, a sick grandmother and the meager wages of a weaver in the factory. Robus Elder was the first artist to designer of the Central military sanatorium of the Ministry of defence "frunzenskoe", then worked for many years in Alushta city communications. All his free time artist dedicated to creativity, for which he drew inspiration from the blessed Crimean land. The main theme of his works were landscapes, seascapes, flowers, of course, reflected the war and experienced the pain of loss. In Alushta, the artist has found a "fellow writers" and became an active participant in the national fine art Studio of the city of Alushta. His paintings adorn the premises of Gotelecom, there they are in the library of the village of Partenit, in the Museum, you can see them in the city of Partenit sister – Waldenburg (Switzerland), the sister city of Alushta – Aanekoski (Finland), Santa Cruz (USA), in many cities of Germany and England.
