Ivanovich Mayorov

He was born in the Yaroslavl region. After military service he enrolled in the Yaroslavl art school, which he graduated in 1976 and moved to the city of Sokol, Vologda region. Sokolskaya taught in art school, a pedagogical school, worked as a painter and decorator in the town of Kadnikov.

In 1986, Sokol founded the Studio "Spectrum" to Amateur artists.

Throughout all these years has not stopped creative work. The artist has participated in city, zonal and regional art exhibitions. Held solo exhibitions in Sokol, Vologda, Valkeakoski (Finland).

In 1991 became a member of the Union of artists of the USSR.

The main genre in which the artist works – landscape. The landscape of the Vologda land, lyrical and epic, the landscape of mood and condition.
