People's artist of Ukraine (1994), member of the National Union of artists of Ukraine(1960).

L. E. Gogol received many artistic and honorary titles, state awards, academician of the National Academy of architecture of Ukraine (2000), winner of the order of Princess Olga of III degree (2000)and Thepen(2012),
The winner of the Award "Woman of III Millennium" (2006), winner of the Prize. Katerina Bilokur(2007).

L. E. Gogol born may 23, 1930 in Kiev.
1948 - 1954 he studied first at the Kiev art Institute, and then at the Lviv state Institute of decorative and applied arts.

It was further training in postgraduate study of the Academy of architecture of the USSR.
For a long time after finishing graduate school she had worked in the Academy of architecture, after its reorganization in the Academy of construction and architecture of USSR.

Lyudmila was elected to high posts in the Union of artists of Ukraine and the Kiev organization of the Union of artists of Ukraine.

Ludmila Gogol - an outstanding figure in the field of the theory and practice of monumental and decorative art.
The most well-known Lyudmila in Ukraine and far beyond its borders as an outstanding master of Ukrainian art of the tapestry.

The work of the artist that continue the traditions of Ukrainian folk carpet - it is a masterful reproduction of the multicolor ambient world, high culture, brilliant craftsmanship,the originality of the realization of artistic ideas, the uniqueness of technological developments.

The most important contribution of the artist in the development of Ukrainian art of the second half of XX - beginning of XXI century is developed by the system of interaction of synthetic architectural interior and artistic fabrics.

A lot of fruitful work PhD L. E. Gogol as a theorist of the fine and decorative arts.

She is the author of the books: "the Fabric in the interior" (1968),
"Decorative art in the interior of the home" (1973),
"Decorative art of the Ukrainian SSR"(co-author,1986)
and more than 100 articles in the areas of synthesis of arts.

Works by L. E. Gogol adorn the public spaces of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the accounting chamber of Ukraine, the Kyiv city Council, the embassies of Ukraine in Greece, Austria,Brazil, other official and public institutions, are kept in many museums of Ukraine, and other countries, regularly exhibited at exhibitions of contemporary Ukrainian art.

From 1978 to 2011 has held 23 personal exhibitions of the artist.

Elation worked with the artist, her love for mother nature and all-consuming passion for the material helped her the most right to reach the goal in every work.

Died April 15, 2015.
