Biography and information

Born January 28, 1947 in the town of Nordburg (Nordburg, Wienhausen, Germany), where his mother was stolen by the Germans during the occupation of Taganrog. In 1949 together with her mother returned to Taganrog. C 1964 to 1968 he studied at the Rostov art College named. M. B. Grekova, graduated from the picturesque pedagogical Department (the class of P. N. Cerenova). Worked in the art Fund of the city of Voronezh. From 1969 to 1997 he taught at the Taganrog children's art school. He believed that his teacher Alexander Zhdanov, who was friends with for many years and was in correspondence after the emigration of Zhdanov in the United States.In 1988 he participated in exhibitions of the Association "Art or death" ("one Day exhibition", "Bugbear").

During the life of L. Stukanov held only two solo exhibitions in Taganrog theatre. A. P. Chekhov (1987) and at the Taganka Theatre (1992).

Tragically died under mysterious circumstances on 16 may 1998. Was killed in his workshop. Buried in Taganrog.

He believed that his teacher Alexander Zhdanov, who was friends with for many years and was in correspondence after the emigration of Zhdanov in the United States. Friends called Stukanova Count[3]. In 1988 he participated in exhibitions of the Association "Art or death" ("one Day exhibition", "Bugbear")[4][5].

Buried in Taganrog, in the old cemetery (Nicholas crossing).
