German painter, ranked according to their education, and place of the main activities is also a Dutch school.

He studied first in his hometown of Leipzig E. Nisse, and then at Abraham Blumart in Utrecht, where in 1637 was a temporary member of the Guild of St. Luke and worked, apparently, until the end of life.

Differing strength of character, and thoroughness of execution and mimicking to some extent the work of Rembrandt, painted historical subjects, genres and mayhem. He studied at the famous Jan Steen and ARIS de WIPO.
