"KEEPER OF THE CITY" PAINTING

This painting depicts the Archangel Michael, who sits on the roof of an unfinished building, from where he sees everything that happens in the city. The author sees Archangel Michael as simple and always wearing a fur coat, because he is very much Russian, very human. He guards our city of Vladimir, once the capital of Russia - then it was Vladimir-Suzdal Russia. And of course he has wings, which will immediately open up if he sees that someone needs his help. In the lower right corner of the picture is a church named in his honor.
