Jean CLISSAC (Ivan Nikiforovich)
Klissak Jean
1903 (Kiev) - June 1, 1983 (Paris). Photographer, naivist artist.

In exile in France. He worked as a film photographer. In this capacity from 1940 to 1973 he participated in the production of about 20 feature films, including Les musiciens du ciel by Georges Lacombe (1940), Je l'ai été trois fois (1952) and Napoleon (1955) by Sacha Guitry, "La vie à l'envers by Alain Jessup (1964), Le Rapace by José Giovanni (1968), Le mur de l'Atlantique by Marcel Camus (1970), and Prêtres interdits by Denis de La Patellaire (1973). A book of his photographs, Le mur de l'Atlantique, was published in Paris in 1970.

He is buried in the Père-Lachaise cemetery.
