G. Asper was born in the family of a member of the city Council of Zurich. In 1526 he married the daughter of Ludwig, Neggy, member of the Great Council city. The son of Asper Hans Rudolf Asper, was also a famous painter. Grandson, Hans Conrad Asper, a major architect who worked in Vienna and Munich. With 1545 G. Asper, member of the Great Council of Zurich.
