Biography and information

Pogosyan Alexander Alexandrovich was born in 1963 in the city of Tuapse, Krasnodar Territory. From 1979 to 1983, he studied at the Abramtsevo School of Industrial Art. From 1984 to 1986 - Service in the Navy. From 1989 to 1995 - a student at the Repin Institute of the Russian Academy of Arts. 1995 - defense of the thesis "Refugees".

1995-1999 - Classes in the creative workshop under the guidance of Professor A. A. Mylnikov. 1999 - Participation in the reconstruction of murals of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow as part of the brigade of A. K. Bystrov. Since 2000 he has been teaching at the Faculty of Painting at SPbGAIJS.

Since 1998 - Member of the Union of Artists of Russia

Works in the technique of oil painting, creates sketches for mosaics, stained glass and other monumental solutions. Creates prints, in particular lithography.

2001-2004 - Participation in the creation of murals in the Znamensky Cathedral in the city of Kursk

Participant of exhibitions in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Sochi, Beijing, Shanghai, Amsterdam, etc
