Samsonov

Alexander Samsonov was born on December 21, 1949 in the city of Kirov. After graduating from 8th grade in 1965, he entered the Voronezh Equestrian College, completed his studies in 1968. In 1977 he entered the Kirov Art College, after 3 courses he transferred to Leningrad, and in 1982 received a diploma from the Leningrad Art College named after V.A.Serova. In 1982 - 1983 he studied at the Higher art courses of the Leningrad Academy of Arts. I.E. Repina. 1987 - 1989 - taught at the Kirov Art College in Kirov. 1990 - 1996 - lived and worked in St. Petersburg. In 1996 he moved to Kirov. He did not have a permanent job, he painted paintings that were sold for pennies, eked out a miserable existence. He participated in several exhibitions. Died March 19, 2009. Pictures of A. Samsonov are in private collections in Russia, USA, England, Germany, Japan.
