Biography and information

Love Child: The artist formally known, as Marlon Davila is a 1st Generation Guatemalan born in Princeton NJ. He studied his first love, Fashion, at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. Continuing his education in Fine Arts he discovered his true love, Painting while attending Mercer County Community College. He graduated with honors and achieved the Jack Harris Memorial Scholarship for his Excellence in Fine Arts. Attended Art Escape Italy in May 2017, a workshop with Hendrik Uldalen. Love Child’s work is Influenced by fashion, the bright vibrant colors of his Mayan ancestry as well as the works of Edouard Manet, Edgar Degas and Picasso. Infused in his art is his expression of present-day occurrences, Mayan ancestry and fashion.
