Ivanovich Zakharov

Ivan Ivanovich Zakharov (1885-1969) - Russian Soviet painter, graphic artist, portrait painter, landscape painter. He studied intermittently at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture (MUZHVZ) under A.E. Arkhipova, K.A. Korovin, V.A. Serova (1901-1911). Participant of exhibitions since 1906. One of the organizers of the Moscow Salon Society. Member of the association "Heat Color" (1923-1927). He taught at the studios K.F. Yuona and I.O. Dudina (1912-1915), F.I. Rerberg.
Ivan Ivanovich Zakharov was born on February 26, 1885 in Moscow in a merchant family. He studied intermittently at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture (MUZHVZ) in 1901-1911. at A.E. Arkhipova, K.A. Korovin, V.A. Serova. In 1911 he received the title of artist. He lived and worked in Moscow (spent some time in Uzbekistan). He began to participate in exhibitions since 1906. Participated in exhibitions: “Union of Russian Artists” (1922-1923), “Heat-Color” (1924-1928). In 1911, Zakharov married a graduate of the Moscow School of Painting and Art, artist Natalya Nikolaevna Agapieva (1882-1956). In 1913, Zakharov made a trip to Altai.
