The slopes of South Demerdzhi are very similar to the landscape from the movie "Avatar". Sharp rock ledges covered with pine trees create mystical images in the mist of clouds. No wonder this area is called the "Valley of the Ghosts".
After the summer rain, lonely clouds of steam, like ghosts, wander between the rocks. They rise and fall in the wind. Forming in the forest, the steam sweeps over the mountain grasses, absorbing all their aroma. Which, with warm, humid air like from a bath, envelops you with a mixture of pine needles, thyme, ivan tea and other herbs.
I go to the mountains a lot, but for the first time I got into the fragrant clouds. Probably for this I love the mountains, which they meet in a new way every time.
