A work from the "Poetry" series
My love of poetry and painting have merged together. The canvases express the pure emotional association from the lines of poets with the help of paints. Both classics and our contemporaries.
The picture was painted in association with a poem by the poet Es Soya
In an empty and forgotten city
in the maelstrom of sleepless nights-- blades
I'd probably be hungry,
if I were alive and sober.
this town is so simple in the morning,
rolling around in bed without the usual makeup.
I'm almost a saint today,
look at my halo of cigarette smoke.
so, like a bunch of grapes
from my lips those words, my guidance.
I've seen a couple of people die of love
I've seen millions rotting in her absence.
