This picture was inspired by a photo of the Bluebird.

It turns out that several states in India have chosen the Bengal Lapwing as their symbol. Because of the bird's widespread popularity, there are many legends and tales associated with it. Many legends associate it with the god Shiva. There was even a special cult dedicated to the Bengal lapwing.
I have been admiring this painting for a long time, and this winter I decided to participate in the international competition "VERNISAGE 2021", where I presented this work.
