Center of photography behalf of the Lumiere brothe

Center of photography Lumiere brothers opened on March 2, 2010 on the territory of former confectionery factory "Red October" and includes three exhibition halls, a gallery of collector's pictures PhotoBookPoster bookstore, library and café. All of the exhibition is devoted to Soviet, Russian and foreign photographic art of the twentieth century.

The art site covers more than 1,000 square meters of the old mansion on Bolotnaya embankment and is designed to work with professional photographers, photographic collections and exhibitions. Three spacious showroom allow us to exhibit over 400 photos. The Center works open library, where the best literature on photography over the last 80 years. Bookstore PhotoBookPoster offers a wide and constantly updated assortment of art books and history photographs and postcards, photoposters and magazines.

In addition to regular photographic exhibitions, the Center provides training, research activities, conducting its own publishing program and forms the basis for creating a Russian "Museum of photography".
