Description of the artwork «Mont roch del camp, church and village»

Mont Roig del Camp is a small town on the coast where Joan Miro's parents bought a farm and where the young artist first seriously began painting. Mont Roch is Miro's first and most powerful artistic impression. Even after moving to Paris, he will always spend the summer on the farm.
