"The Urals is the Heart of Russia" is the working title of my project. I have been preparing it for several years, I travelled all over the Urals, talked a lot with the locals, painted the walls of houses, breathed the air of the Urals and drew inspiration from the pristine nature. I fell in love with the Urals with all my heart and felt that this is where the heart of Russia is - in these boundless forests, full-flowing rivers, majestic mountains and beautiful people. Our ancestors called the Urals "the stone belt." The belt is what binds, unites and holds in the most difficult times...
The Ural lands are rich in everything that man needs. Ores and jewels, forests and grasses, fertile soils - there is everything here. The Mistress of the Copper Mountain from the tales of Bazhov dedicated to the Urals is a symbol of Nature and Abundance."
The picture is framed in a molding with a mat, ready for hanging.
