Somewhere in the mountains. Romance of railroads (RZD)

The work is part of the exhibition project "Romance of Railways" (Russian Railways)

RZD (Russian Railways) is the circulatory system of our huge beautiful country.

We all love to travel - under the measured clatter of wheels, flickering pictures outside the window, a cup of hot tea it is so pleasant to dream... To believe in something new, fabulous, which is waiting for us at the arrival station.

We all have fond memories from our childhood of traveling by train. We all secretly (or not secretly?) dream of a new wonderful trip - to Sochi, to Baikal, to the north, or maybe finally to travel along the Trans-Siberian Railway and see the whole of our vast homeland in a week?

I want to tell (or maybe just remind) the viewer about the delights of such a journey. In my paintings you will recognize the scenes you have seen before outside the window.

I really want to make a big series of such works. Create an exhibition project "Romance of Railroads" and show it in various cities of Russia
