The aim of the Picasso. Sunlit Years exhibition is to introduce the visitors the link of the Picasso’s oeuvre with South of France and the effect of this place on his artworks. The artist regularly visited the Cote d'-Azur since 1920s. After the World War II, in 1946, Picasso took up residence at the castle at the Antibes, now it is a museum. Two years later he and Françoise Gilot moved to Vallauris famous for its ceramics.
Picasso is considered to start using brighter colors and subjects from ancient myths just after his trips to the Cote d'-Azur.

The Espace Musées boarding hall is the only one demonstrating artworks provided by different collections. The similar boarding hall can be found in the Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and some American airports. The boarding hall in the Amsterdam airport demonstrates the artworks from the Museumstraat collection in Amsterdam and the USA boarding halls dedicate their showcase events to avionics.
