The Quirinale Palace

Quirinale Palace (Italian: Palazzo del Quirinale) is a 16th-century palace on Quirinale Hill in Rome.

Currently, the palace is the official residence of the President of Italy, before that it was the residence of the popes and kings of Italy.

The stable building (Scuderie del Quirinale) was commissioned by Pope Innocent XIII by Carlo Fontana in the early 18th century.

On December 21, 1999, a new exhibition space was opened in the building, introducing visitors to the masterpieces of fine art.
