The idea of creating the Museum came from collector Boris Mints back in 2012. For the first time as a single collection of paintings were presented at the auction house MacDougall’s in the spring of 2014.
The paintings of outstanding Russian artists: Konstantin Korovin and Valentin Serov, Stanislav Zhukovsky and Igor Grabar, Konstantin Yuon and Boris Kustodiev, Pyotr Konchalovsky and Alexander Gerasimov, are the basis of the permanent exhibition of the Museum of Russian Impressionism, located on floors 2 and 3.
The permanent exhibition of the Museum of Russian Impressionism covers a significant period of time.
