The Museum of Contemporary Art in Barcelona (cat. Museu d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona, abbreviated MACBA) is an art museum in the capital of Catalonia. The building, designed by architect Richard Meier, opened on November 28, 1995.
The collection of the museum contains mainly works of art from the second half of the 20th century, as well as works by contemporary artists.
