The Ishimbay Art Gallery was founded in 1991 on the initiative of the entrepreneur N.V. Zubarev and artist R. R. Kadyrov (Ishimbay).
The gallery was opened on July 10, 1992.
The gallery complements the works of contemporary artists of the Republic of Bashkortostan, including local artists.
Exhibits exhibitions of modern fine art of the Republic of Bashkortostan from the collection of BGHM im. M.V. Nesterova (Ufa), the National Museum of the Republic of Bashkortostan, collections of other museums, private collections, personal and group exhibitions of Russian and Bashkir artists.
