The forest is a kind of meta-object because it points not to itself, but to that environment,
in which it's located. The object is extremely minimalistic - in fact, it is just a few
perfectly planed and painted bars arranged in geometric order.
The task of the bars is not to look beautiful, but to set the structure of the surrounding space.
And thus bring at least a modicum of order to the chaos that prevails
in small river valleys today - both in purely physical and semantic terms.
