About the museum
More than a hundred years ago in the city of Nikolaev, a museum was created in honor of the great battle artist. Nikolaev Regional Art Museum. V.V. Vereshchagin, became one of the recognized centers of culture and aesthetic education in the city. Currently, the collection of the museum has up to thirteen thousand exhibits, which represent a kind of artistic chronicle of Ukraine and many other countries. In the halls there is an exposition of works, which includes painting, sculpture, graphics and arts and crafts. In a separate hall of the museum works of Western European art are exhibited.
