Ruben
Leonidovich Apresyan

Born in Moscow in 1963. Engaged in painting since 1982. For five years from 1983. he studied in the workshop of Joseph Gurvich (1907-1992). Participates in exhibitions since 1984. Member of the Moscow branch of Union of artists since 1989. In 1990-e years she has lived and worked in Austria. In 1996. in Vienna he published the first monographic catalogue devoted to his work.

Works are in State Tretyakov gallery, Moscow; State Russian Museum, St. Petersburg; State Museum of arts of peoples of the East, Moscow; the Tula Museum of fine arts; the Museum of the Mekhitarist congregation of Vienna, Austria; Volksbank meeting and town hall, Trossingen, Germany; and in private and corporate collections in Russia, Austria, Germany, USA, South Korea and other countries.
