Born in the village of lytvynivka Dnipropetrovsk region. In 1938 – 1939 he studied at the Dnepropetrovsk art College in 1946 – 1952 – KHI, K. trokhimenko and V. Kostecki. Honored worker of the USSR since 1977. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR. Master of thematic painting, portrait, landscape. Included in the list of the 100 best artists of Ukraine. Works are in the namu, the Kharkiv HMM etc.
