Born in 1920 in the village of Zhigalovo zhigalovsky district of Irkutsk region In 1950, graduated from all-Union state Institute of cinematography, artistic faculty. Since 1939 he has participated in exhibitions. In 1952 became a member of Moscow Union of artists. Works are in State Tretyakov gallery, in the State. Historical Museum, State. the Museum of modern history of Russia, the Pushkin Museum, the Museum-panorama "Borodino battle", the Perm art gallery, etc., in the collections of the CIS, Europe and America.
