People's artist of Russia, full member of the Russian Academy of arts, Chairman of the Board of the Ministry of agriculture, Chairman of the Board of the Association of painters MOA.
Born in Moscow in 1946 In 1973 graduated from the Moscow state pedagogical Institute, art-graphic faculty. He studied at the VP Efanova, AP Surovtseva, V. A. Dreznina, J. E. Vinogradov. Member of the Ministry of agriculture since 1976, a Participant of many Moscow, all-Union, Russian and foreign exhibitions. Since 1997 he has been Deputy CEO of the Ministry of agriculture, since 2001 - Chairman of the Board of the Association of painters MOA. He was awarded the silver medal of the Russian Academy of arts.
