Finished 1948 the Academy of fine Arts, Department of painting thesis work , Milking cows on the farm,, (head, Elias).

1950. – 1954. it works as a drawing teacher Riga deaf and dumb school.

Exhibiting since the 1960s.

Member of the Board of Artists since 1962.

Straupe 1976.;

Tukums 1980, 1981..

In his works before developing your individual painting. Worked in the art maslyanoi painting on different canvases. He painted portraits, still lifes and landscapes.
