Nikolay
Fedorovich Denisovsky

Was born in Moscow. Studied at the Stroganov school (1911-1917.) from S. V. noakowskiego street, D. A. shcherbinovsky, in VHUTEMAS in 1917-1919, G. Yakulov. Participated in the organization of the Society of young artists (1920-1921), the society OST (1925-1932.), unions of workers of the revolutionary poster (1931-1932 gg.), Moscow TASS Windows (1941-1945). Honored artist of the RSFSR.

(1901, Moscow – 1981, Moscow) Honored artist of the RSFSR.

Studied in SHPU (1911 – 1917), in VKhUTEMAS in Moscow at G. Yakulov (1918 – 1919).

On the proposal of the people's Commissariat, together with other eleven first graduates of VKhUTEMAS organized Society of young artists (IBMOHU), located

in a former shop of a goldsmith and miniaturist Faberge. Together with V. Mayakovsky

N. Denisovskaya created a series of posters for the narkomzdrav. This work was decisive

the fate of the artist, has determined its "main genre" – poster.

Brush Denisovskaya also owns a number of portraits of statesmen

and people in the arts. In the first five years the artist has produced a series of graphic getalbums. Illustrated many books, including first editions of works

V. Mayakovsky.

During the great Patriotic war became one of the organizers of the "TASS Windows" to revive the tradition of the "rosta Windows", weapons of satire fought with the enemy.

N. F. Denisovsky was a Professor of painting and head of the Department at the Moscow state Institute of decorative and applied arts, the Dean of the painting Department of the art-technical Institute in Leningrad.

His works are in state Tretyakov gallery, Perm art gallery, the Chelyabinsk regional picture gallery and other collections.
