Demyanov

Painter, landscape painter, portraitist, draughtsman. Born in the Urals, in the village of artinskiy Zavod, Perm province. He studied at the school of I. I. Levitan (1892). In 1988 he won a silver medal in 1903 the title of class artist. Then he studied at the higher art school at the Academy of fine Arts (1903-1910) A. A. Kiseleva. Retired AH (1910-1912) in Paris, Rome, Venice, Holland. Participant of exhibitions in Moscow school of painting, the Mat, and OH, the "Association independent". Participant of the International exhibition in Munich in 1911, M. A. Demyanov has worked primarily in the landscape genre, developing "levitanovskoy" direction in a realistic and lyrical landscape. Used the achievements of the Impressionists, in an effort to atudot, a wide smear. He worked for the St. Petersburg satirical magazine "Lightning" (1906), "lights out" (1906), etc.
