In 1962 Perm. book was released on the album "Perm in the engravings of Alexander Zyryanov" with 20 linocuts by the artist, printed with copyright boards. In the second half. Con. 1950s - 1960s - the era of the "severe style" in Soviet art. A lot of popularity in graph is becoming the technique of linocut. Zyryanov turned to civil subjects, subjects connected with revolutionary events in the country and Kama. In 1966, made a series of prints dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the October revolution. The monumental, severe, generalized forms, the contrast of black and white colors emphasized the symbolic meaning of the images. In a series of prints became large leaves "get out of the Komsomol", "Kizelovskaya GRES – the first in the Urals in the electrification plan," "We ours, we will build a new world", "Lenin and the revolution", "war", etc. In 1974-1987, he was created the album "Motovilikha" (86 engravings). In the 1960s, the artist turned to the small genre of graphic paper bookplate. Played a number of story book characters in the engraving for a well-known creative individuals: writers V. P. Astafiev and A. M. Domnina, journalist B. N. Nazarovskiy, artists M. S. Brusilovsky and M. V. Tarasova, artists M. V. Alpatov, A. G. Budinoi, by L. F. dyakonitsyn. In the 1970s, created a series of panoramic rural landscapes of his native land, presenting the beauty and harmony of human life, working on the land ("Spring on the farm", "Haying time", "Field camp"). Since the 1970s, consistently working to the theme of "Monuments of history and culture." Created cycles of prints on the masterpieces of architecture, the Stroganov icon, Perm. a wooden sculpture of Perm. animal style. Working on the albums "Chud antiquities of the Urals" (1973) and "Perm animal style", studied and creatively interpreted the ancient monuments of the so-called Perm. animal style, and are kept in the collections of the Hermitage, the state historical Museum, museums of Perm. region. In 1973 the publishing house "Soviet Russia" published the book "Chud antiquities of the Urals," with engravings by A. Zyryanova. In 1980-1982 created 20 prints album, "Perm. wooden sculpture", which presents a unique collection of temple sculptures 17th-18th century from the collection of the Perm. state gallery of art: Paraskeva Pyatnitsa, St. Nicholas of Mozhaisk, Christ in prison, hosts... the Simplicity and restraint of the images, depth of black, the beauty and expressiveness of patterns and texture and luminous white bar made this album a notable phenomenon in the artistic life of the city of Perm. Work continued on a cycle Ural landscapes. Created the album "Perm motives" (1983-1989), which includes 130 prints depicting different parts of the old Perm, Kama river embankment, buildings of the city. In a series of engravings "of the Ural nature" (1983-1987) panoramic and chamber compositions have represented a kind of beauty of nature of the Kama region ("My region", "Kama spaces").

In 1960-1990-ies. was created the portraits of outstanding figures of culture and science of the Kama region: the collector of Perm. wooden sculpture N. N. Serebrennikov, Acad. N. D. Zelinsky, writers, A. M., Domnina, L. I. Davydychev.

In the 1980s Zyryanov turned to a new topic – legendary Perm. ballet. Created a series of prints inspired by the images of the performances of Perm. theatre of Opera and ballet. Techniques in pencil drawing and pastels were made a series of portraits of the leading dancers of the theater: Shmorgoner K. A., I. A. Shapovalov, O. R. Levenkova, V. I. Dubrovin, S. A. Alexandrov, chief choreographer, Vladimir N. Salimbayeva, conductor O. M. Belentsov.

In the 1990's - 2000 engaged in applied graphics. Developed and executed: a sketch of the standard of the Governor of Perm. region; the coats of arms of cities of Kurgan, Lysva, Chusovoi, Krasnovishersk, Wasps, Cherdyn, got Spruce and Frequent.
