Vasilyevich Ivanovsky

Painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR.

Graduated from Moscow. The vkhutein (1930), a student of D. Shterenberg, S. Gerasimov. He lived in Moscow. In 1928-31 member of the OST. From 1928 to participate in exhibitions. Themed paintings (including "Surrender on the icon TRP", 1932; "Yachts", 1957; "the Morning after the fight," 1964-65), landscapes (including "the Sura River", 1935; "Over the river", 1947; "the Night," 1967), portraits (including "Girl", 1928; "wife's Portrait", 1945) and other works.

In 1930 he graduated from the VKHUTEMAS workshop DP Shterenberg.

In 1927 he joined the Association of the OST, in 1932, together with the artists and associates establishes izobrigada TIGI ("T" - Tyagunov, "And" Ivanovo, G - Gurevich).

In 1920-1930s he participated in several international exhibitions of Soviet art: USA (new York, Philadelphia, Boston), Austria (Vienna), Germany (Berlin). In the design of Soviet artists in 1932 the all-Union agricultural exhibition was responsible for the pavilion "far East" and "Agriculture".
