Born on 31 Dec 1924 in Makeyevka in Ukraine.

In 1953 Leonid Kabachek graduated from the Repin Institute of arts in Repin, Boris Ioganson workshop.

He studied of Leonid Ovsannikov, Boris Fogel, Alexander Zaytsev.

Participant of exhibitions since 1953.

Member of the Leningrad Union of artists since 1955.

He painted portraits, genre and historical compositions, landscapes, still lifes.

Honored artist of the RSFSR (1968).

Personal exhibitions in Leningrad, Moscow, Cheboksary (1975).
