Georgi Petrovich Kadin was born on April 15 (3), 1885 in the village of Aksaur (Kasaur), Karsun district, Simbirsk province (now Inzensky district) in a peasant family.
One day a teacher told Yegor's father that the plowman would not leave the boy. She noticed a long time ago that drawings often appear in his notebook — the flying bird, the slender tree, the running horse.
After graduating from the Aksauri school, Yegor successfully passed the tests and received a benefit for military service - a postponement until the end of his education. In 1906 entered the Kazan Art School in the painting department. 1909 Kadin graduated from the full course of painting at the Kazan Art School with the title of a teacher of graphic arts in secondary schools, and then the Faculty of Architecture at the same school in 1911. with the enviable right of non-competitive admission to the Academy of Arts. But instead of the Academy, he had to petition for admission to military service "volunteer", as the call to him was delayed only until his graduation. In 1912, after serving military service, he was promoted to warrant officer.
G. P. Kadin moved from Kazan to Petersburg for admission to the Academy of Arts. But the First World War broke out. As a reserve officer, Georgi Petrovich was drafted into the army and served at the disposal of the artillery commander of the Western Front. An artist and an architect, a man of purely peaceful professions, he was forced to become a warrior.
Georgiy Petrovich turned out to be an excellent artillery commander. He was awarded five battle orders. By the autumn of 1916, he was twice promoted and attained the highest front-line distinction, the Golden Weapon.
Once George Petrovich received from friends an unusual package for the front - a box with watercolors and an album. In moments of rest, he drew a lot: portraits of friends on the battery, cartoons, landscapes. This album in canvas binding is still preserved in the Kadins family.
In early October 1916, he was sent to radio courses at the headquarters of the 4th Army, and then he passed a special course on the correction of artillery firing from aircraft. The new specialty greatly captivated him. He was sent to the Kiev military school of observers and, having graduated in April 1917, he returned to his squadron as a regular observer pilot.
A new period began in the life of Kadin, who linked his fate with aviation. On June 16, 1917, he was injured in a plane crash.

He was valued and put on the most difficult areas. He led a huge amount of construction of aircraft factories, built buildings for testing aircraft engines, residential buildings, clubs for aviation networks.
