He became the honored artist of the Yakut ASSR, a native of II Tellimisega nasleg of Megino-Kangalassky region. After graduation, I immediately enrolled in the painting faculty of the Moscow state art Institute. VI Surikov (Studio DK Mochalskogo). He painted portraits, thematic pictures, landscapes ("Spring in the tundra," "prison without bars" ("Revolutionary in exile"), "meeting on the path", "Fishermen Indigirka")... Painting M. V. Lukin very bright, cheerful, and warm color mood. In 1959-64 he was Chairman of the Yakutsk branch of the Union of artists of the RSFSR. He was a delegate to the first Congress of artists of the RSFSR (1960) I and the II Congress of artists of the USSR (1957, 1963), member of the Union of artists of the USSR since 1956, he participated in numerous art exhibitions — national, zonal, all-Union.
