Painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR. Honored artist of the RSFSR.

(1916, Rostov oblast - 2000, Moscow). Honored artist of Russia. He graduated from the Krasnodar art College. In MGHI them. Surikov was enrolled directly into the second year. Studied under A.V. Lentulov, S. V. Gerasimov, I. E. Grabar. Was the first student to be awarded the scholarship named after I. E. Repin. The work of A. G. Lysenko is often defined as "Soviet impressionism" of the 1960s-1970s, From 1989 to 1998 in the Paris galleries held an annual exhibition of paintings by A. G. Lysenko. More than a hundred works by the artist have been sold at auction auction house Druot. In 1974 and 1990 in Milan published the albums by the artist. Works are in state Tretyakov gallery, the Museum of the great Patriotic war, Historical Museum, Museum of contemporary history of Russia, the Museum-estate Abramtsevo, as well as in all major regional museums, in private collections all over the world: America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. A large collection of works by A. G. Lysenko is at the Milan Museum Sinaga.
